Dining table accessories set the scene and make hosting effortless. Start with linen or cotton runners to soften the surface and frame place settings; add chargers, placemats and coasters to protect and layer texture. A centrepiece—ceramic bowl, sculptural vase or a low cluster of candles—adds focus without blocking sightlines. Keep heights varied but conversation-friendly.
