The BASIC Tray was designed by Nina Thöming for Blomus, bringing together clear lines, softly rounded contours and straightforward everyday usability.
Rather than relying on decorative detail, BASIC creates its character through proportion, material and a restrained matt finish that works naturally across a wide range of contemporary interiors.
Deep-Drawn Stainless Steel
BASIC is made from deep-drawn stainless-steel sheet, creating a stable and robust tray with a smooth, consistent form.
The matt silver surface gives it a clean contemporary appearance while remaining neutral enough to combine with ceramic tableware, glassware, timber and other kitchen or dining accessories.
Softly Rounded for Easy Handling
Gently rounded edges soften the otherwise minimal shape and make the tray comfortable to pick up and reposition during everyday use.
Its low 1 cm profile keeps the overall appearance refined while still providing enough definition around the perimeter to create a clear serving or display surface.

Caring for the Blomus BASIC Tray
The BASIC Tray is dishwasher-safe. Blomus also recommends wiping the tray with a damp cloth when required, drying it afterwards and allowing it to air dry completely.
