Bonaldo Basket Bed

The Bonaldo Basket Bed is characterised by a broad upholstered headboard with soft, enveloping lines.

Its removable upholstery is available in fabric, leather or eco-leather, while several configurations allow the shape and functionality to be adapted to the bedroom. Basket Plus introduces additional headboard detailing, while Basket Open and Basket Plus Open incorporate storage beneath the mattress platform.

This makes Basket particularly suitable where a substantial upholstered bed is wanted without sacrificing the possibility of additional bedroom storage.

Bonaldo Cuff Bed

The Bonaldo Cuff Bed introduces more tailored detailing through vertical pleating, distinctive fastenings and leather inserts across the padded headboard.

The upholstery is fully removable and can be specified in fabric, leather or eco-leather. Different versions alter the headboard height and bed-frame proportions, while the Cuff Open configuration introduces storage beneath the bed.

Bonaldo Tonight Charme Bed

The Bonaldo Tonight Charme Bed takes a cleaner and more linear approach.

Bonaldo Fluff Bed

For a softer and more generous silhouette, the Bonaldo Fluff Bed uses substantial padding across both the headboard and frame.

Bonaldo Squaring Bed

Gervasoni Beds

Gervasoni Loll Bed

The Gervasoni Loll Bed has a softer and more padded character than the Ghost collection.

Loll works particularly well in bedrooms where tactile upholstery and softer forms are more important than strongly architectural furniture.

Scandinavian Bed by Bolia

Bolia is represented in the current category by the Bolia Haven Bed.

Designed by Steffensen & Würtz, Haven is crafted from solid FSC-certified oak and uses a broad surrounding frame that doubles as a practical ledge around the mattress.

The frame is available in dark oiled oak, oiled oak and white-pigmented oiled oak, while a soft upholstered headboard can be added where a more comfortable reading position is preferred.

This combination of natural timber, restrained lines and optional upholstery gives Haven a distinctly Scandinavian character within a category otherwise dominated by Italian beds.

Tamo Design Hug Bed

The Tamo Design Hug Bed takes a strongly timber-led approach.

Its inward-curved headboard creates an enveloping shape around the sleeping area, while the extended headboard incorporates bedside surfaces directly into the overall composition.

The elevated frame sits on slender legs, creating a lighter visual appearance and leaving space beneath the bed accessible for cleaning. The Hug Bed is available in natural oak, dark oak and ebony oak finishes.

Upholstered Designer Beds

Upholstered beds introduce softness and texture on a much larger scale than cushions or other decorative textiles. They can help balance timber flooring, wardrobes and harder architectural surfaces while creating a more comfortable area for sitting up in bed.
