The Gervasoni Bolla 15 Coffee Table combines natural fibre, handwoven craftsmanship and a bold sculptural form to create a piece with real presence in the living room.

The Bolla collection was designed by Michael Sodeau for Gervasoni. The collection explores the relationship between natural woven fibre, sculptural form and colour, transforming traditional rattan craftsmanship into a distinctly contemporary piece of furniture.
The simplicity of the overall form allows the weave itself to become one of the main visual features, giving the table depth, texture and character from every angle.
Handwoven Natural Mélange Rattan
In its natural version, Bolla 15 is handwoven in natural mélange rattan core. The variation within the fibre creates a rich, tactile surface that gives the table a warmer and more individual appearance than a completely uniform manufactured finish.
The beauty of the material lies in the woven texture itself. Light passes through and across the weave differently throughout the day, giving the curved surface greater visual depth.
A Low, Rounded Form
Bolla 15 is characterised by a low, full-bodied shape that gives the table its distinctive sculptural presence. The curved profile softens the room and creates a natural contrast against the straighter lines of sofas, cabinetry and architectural interiors.
At 95 cm in diameter and 30 cm high, the proportions are generous enough to anchor a lounge arrangement while retaining a relaxed, low profile.

Bolla 15 is available in natural mélange rattan for the most organic expression of the design, as well as a selection of matt lacquered finishes for a more graphic and colourful interpretation.
Lacquered options include White, Grey, Black, Ocean, Dove-Grey, Blueberry, Date and Ginger, giving the same woven form a very different character depending on the surrounding interior.

Crafted Around an Internal Metal Structure
Beneath the woven surface is an internal structure made from round iron bars finished with semi-matt epoxy powder. The rattan is then handwoven around this framework to create the distinctive curved form.
This concealed construction allows the table to maintain its sculptural shape while keeping the focus visually on the natural fibre weave.

Bolla 15 works particularly well in interiors where texture is used to balance cleaner architectural surfaces. Pair the natural version with linen, wool, timber and neutral upholstery for a warm, layered scheme.

Caring for the Gervasoni Bolla 15
Regularly remove dust from the woven surface using a soft cloth or a soft brush attachment, taking care not to catch or damage the natural fibres.
