Description
Generous Proportions, Softened Geometry
The Nova Nook Murien Coffee Table 90 cm is a larger, more substantial version of the Murien design, created for living rooms where the coffee table needs to properly anchor the seating area.
Its 90 x 90 cm square top provides a generous surface for books, trays, drinks and decorative objects, while softly rounded edges prevent the overall shape from feeling overly rigid or architectural.
Dark Beige with a High-Gloss Finish
Murien is finished in a dark beige tone that gives the table a warm, understated character. Rather than introducing a strong contrast, the colour is designed to sit naturally within neutral and layered interior schemes.
The high-gloss surface brings another dimension to the design, catching light across the tabletop and giving the muted colour a more polished and expressive appearance.
Low and Relaxed by Design
At just 30 cm high, the Murien Coffee Table has a deliberately low profile that works especially well with contemporary sofas and lounge seating.
This lower stance helps the table feel visually calm despite its larger footprint, allowing it to occupy the centre of the room without interrupting sightlines across the seating arrangement.
Rounded Edges and Four Sturdy Legs
The rounded edges are an important part of the Murien design. They soften the strong square proportions and create a more fluid silhouette, making the table feel easier to live with in a busy seating area.
Four substantial legs support the top and reinforce the grounded feel of the piece. At approximately 27 kg, the table has a reassuring sense of weight and permanence once positioned within the room.
Made for Larger Seating Arrangements
The 90 cm version of Murien is particularly well suited to larger sofas, modular seating and arrangements where several seats need easy access to the central table.
Its square shape works naturally in front of a wide sofa or between facing seating, while the large surface gives the room a clear focal point without needing multiple smaller tables.
A Calm Statement for Neutral Interiors
Murien’s dark beige finish makes it especially easy to integrate into interiors built around warm neutrals. Pair it with cream, taupe, caramel, walnut or natural oak to create a layered scheme without introducing a strong colour break.
The glossy surface adds contrast against matte upholstery, boucle, wool and natural timber, helping the table stand out through texture and reflection rather than colour alone.

Caring for the Nova Nook Murien Coffee Table
High-gloss surfaces should be treated carefully to help preserve their reflective finish. Use coasters or protective pads beneath drinks and decorative objects, and avoid dragging items across the tabletop.
For everyday cleaning, use a soft cloth and avoid abrasive pads or aggressive cleaning products that could scratch or dull the surface. Wipe spills promptly and dry the tabletop where necessary.
