A Compact Pendant in Marble and Metal
The Aromas del Campo Hulo Pendant Lamp combines two very different materials in one compact design. A clean metal cylinder forms the upper body of the pendant, while a broad marble element introduces natural colour, veining and visual weight beneath it.
The result is simple from a distance but much richer when viewed up close. Hulo works particularly well where a smaller pendant needs to contribute material detail without dominating the room.

Hulo was designed by Pepe Fornas for Aromas del Campo in 2025. The design reduces the pendant to a small number of clearly defined elements, allowing proportion and material contrast to provide the visual character rather than decorative detailing.
That restraint makes Hulo easy to incorporate into contemporary kitchens, dining rooms and living spaces while still retaining a recognisable identity of its own.
Choose Your Metal and Marble Combination
RB12 currently offers the Hulo Pendant Lamp with two selectable metal finishes and four marble options.
- Metal: Matt Black or Aged Gold
- Marble: Black, White, Green or Brown
These choices allow the character of the pendant to change considerably. Matt black paired with darker marble creates a quieter, more architectural result, while aged gold and lighter or coloured marble introduce greater warmth and contrast.
Because marble is a natural material, its appearance can vary in colour and veining from one piece of stone to another.
Warm, Focused and Dimmable Light
Hulo uses a GU10 5W light source specified by Aromas del Campo at 450 lumens and 2700K. The warm colour temperature is well suited to residential interiors, particularly dining and living areas where a softer atmosphere is preferred over cooler task lighting.
The light source is dimmable, allowing the output to be reduced for softer evening lighting or increased when more focused illumination is required.
Hulo Pendant Lamp Dimensions
Hulo has a compact overall form measuring approximately 18 cm in diameter × 25 cm high. The manufacturer specifies a maximum suspension length of approximately 300 cm, allowing the pendant height to be adapted to the installation.

Its relatively small diameter makes Hulo useful where a larger decorative pendant would feel too dominant, while the long suspension provides flexibility in rooms with different ceiling heights.
Pendant Lighting for Kitchen Islands
Hulo is particularly well suited to kitchen islands and breakfast bars. Its narrow profile preserves sightlines across an open-plan room, while the downward light provides a clear pool of illumination over the surface below.
One Hulo can provide a focused accent over a smaller surface, while repeating the pendant along a longer island creates a stronger architectural rhythm. Using the same finish throughout keeps the arrangement calm, while the marble introduces enough natural variation to prevent the composition feeling overly uniform.
Using Hulo Above a Dining Table
The warm 2700K light also makes Hulo a natural choice for dining areas. Its compact dimensions allow it to illuminate the table without introducing the visual volume of a large chandelier or wide pendant shade.
For longer rectangular tables, a series of pendants can emphasise the length of the surface. Over a smaller table or occasional area, a single Hulo creates a simpler point of focus while allowing the marble to act as a decorative material within the room.
Designed for Interior Use
Aromas del Campo specifies Hulo at IP20, Class I. It is therefore designed for dry interior environments rather than exposed or wet locations.
Its combination of focused light and compact proportions makes it especially useful in kitchens, dining rooms, entrance areas and other interior spaces where a smaller decorative pendant is required.
