Description
Designed by Meike Harde for Bolia, Anelli takes its name from its construction: a series of slender oak veneer rings, layered and suspended to build up a voluminous, spherical form that feels remarkably light and airy despite being made entirely from wood. The open, ring-built structure lets light filter gently through the gaps between the veneer bands, giving Anelli a soft, glowing quality rather than a single hard-edged silhouette.
Finished in lacquered oak or dark lacquered oak, Anelli brings genuine natural warmth to a space, and its simple, sculptural form means it settles easily into living rooms, dining rooms, hallways or bedrooms alike. It’s suspended by a 3-metre dark beige textile cable, so the hanging height can be adjusted to suit ceilings of different proportions, and the whole fixture is finished with a matching dark beige canopy for a considered, cohesive look.
Anelli comes in two sizes: the compact Ø44cm version, suited to smaller dining tables, bedside settings or tighter spaces, and the more generous Ø55cm version, which makes a fuller, more sculptural statement over a larger table or in an open living area. Both share the same built-in LED module, delivering a warm 3000K light with a high CRI of over 92 for accurate, flattering colour rendering, and both use a replaceable light source rated for up to 30,000 hours, so there’s no need for a completely new fixture down the line.
