At 146 cm wide, it offers substantial storage without requiring the wall space of an oversized cabinet, making it equally at home in a dining room, living space or larger hallway.
Designed by Glismand & Rüdiger
Yacht was created by Danish design duo Glismand & Rüdiger, whose work draws on Scandinavian traditions of simplicity, natural materials and carefully executed craftsmanship.
The Yacht collection began with a simple dining table before developing into a wider furniture family united by understated proportions, crafted details and an emphasis on high-quality joinery.
Oak Veneer with a Solid Oak Base
The Yacht Sideboard combines an oak-veneered cabinet with a solid oak base, allowing the warmth and natural grain of the timber to remain central to the design.
Using solid oak through the supporting base gives the cabinet a grounded, furniture-like quality, while the veneered surfaces allow the larger cabinet sections to retain a clean and consistent finish.
Oiled Oak or White Pigmented Oiled Oak
RB12 offers the Yacht Sideboard in two oak expressions: Oiled Oak and White Pigmented Oiled Oak.
Oiled Oak retains a warmer, richer timber tone, while White Pigmented Oiled Oak gives the cabinet a paler Scandinavian character that works naturally with lighter walls, stone, textured upholstery and neutral interiors.
Brass or Stainless Steel Knobs
A choice of Brass or Stainless Steel knobs allows a subtle change in character without disturbing the simplicity of the cabinet itself.
Brass introduces a warmer detail against the oak, while Stainless Steel creates a cooler and more contemporary contrast. In both versions the hardware remains deliberately restrained, allowing the timber and proportions to remain the focus.
A Compact 146 cm Sideboard
The Yacht Sideboard measures approximately 146 cm wide, 47 cm deep and 77.5 cm high.
Those proportions make it substantial enough to provide useful storage and a generous display surface while remaining considerably easier to position than a sideboard approaching two metres in width.
Storage for Dining and Living Spaces
In a dining room, Yacht provides a natural place to keep tableware, serving pieces and other everyday dining essentials close to hand while maintaining a calm, uncluttered room.
In a living space, the same proportions make it useful for organising accessories, books and everyday belongings, while the broad upper surface provides space for a table lamp, artwork, ceramics or other decorative objects.
Internal Shelving
Internal shelving helps make practical use of the sideboard’s 47 cm depth and allows smaller objects to be organised rather than stacked throughout one large cabinet space.
Bolia specifies a maximum load of approximately 10 kg per shelf for the Yacht Sideboard.
Raised on a Solid Oak Base
The cabinet is lifted clear of the floor on its solid oak base, helping reduce the visual weight of a piece that weighs approximately 55 kg.
The open space beneath gives Yacht a lighter furniture-like presence and allows the sideboard to sit comfortably alongside dining tables, sofas and other raised Scandinavian furniture.
