Description
Compact Teak Storage for Indoors and Outside
The Cane-line Club Small Storage Box is designed for the smaller objects that need somewhere organised to live without requiring a large cabinet or outdoor cushion box.
Part of the wider Cane-line collection at RB12, Club combines practical everyday storage with the warmth of natural teak, allowing the box to work just as naturally on an indoor shelf as it does on a terrace or garden table.
Its compact proportions make it particularly useful for keeping smaller essentials together while allowing the timber itself to become part of the styling rather than something that needs to be hidden away.
Designed by Cane-line Design
Club was developed by Cane-line Design, the Danish brand’s own design team.
The collection is intentionally restrained, using minimalist shapes and tactile materials to create trays and storage pieces that can move easily between functional and decorative use.
Rounded handle openings add an important practical detail, making the box easier to lift and reposition while remaining integrated into the simple overall form.
Crafted from Certified Premium Teak
The Small Club Storage Box is crafted from certified premium teak, giving it a naturally warm golden-brown appearance and making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Teak is particularly well suited to outdoor products because of its natural density, strength and resistance to changing weather conditions.
The visible grain also means the box feels considerably more furniture-like than a conventional plastic outdoor organiser, allowing it to remain permanently in view on a table, shelf or bench.
Natural Teak That Changes with Time
When new, the Club Storage Box has the warm golden-brown colour associated with natural teak.
If the wood is left untreated outdoors, Cane-line explains that it will gradually develop a silver-grey patina. This is a natural characteristic of teak rather than a fault in the timber.
If you prefer the warmer original colour, the teak can instead be maintained using Cane-line’s recommended Teak Care products.
Club Small Storage Box Dimensions
The Small Club box is deliberately compact enough to sit on furniture rather than needing its own dedicated floor space.
- Width: 24 cm
- Depth: 35 cm
- Height: 16 cm
- Weight: approximately 1.65 kg
Its 24 × 35 cm footprint makes it especially useful on coffee tables, dining tables, open shelving and benches where a larger storage container would quickly become intrusive.
Organise an Outdoor Coffee Table
Within an outdoor lounge area, Club can provide a defined place for the smaller objects that otherwise tend to spread across the coffee table.
Keep frequently used items together, move them as one group when the table needs to be cleared, or use the box simply to introduce the warmth and texture of teak alongside aluminium, ceramic or woven outdoor furniture.
Because the box itself is designed for exterior use, it feels much more natural within a garden setting than bringing an indoor storage accessory outside whenever it is needed.
Use Club on Shelves and Benches
Cane-line also suggests Club for use on open shelving and benches, where the box provides a way to group smaller items while keeping them accessible.
The warm timber can soften more architectural shelving systems and outdoor kitchens, while the low 16 cm height prevents the box from becoming visually dominant.
Small Enough for Balconies and Compact Terraces
The Small Club is particularly practical where outdoor space is restricted.
On a balcony or compact terrace, every surface often needs to serve more than one purpose. A 24 × 35 cm storage box provides useful organisation without consuming the floor area required by a conventional garden storage unit.
It can simply sit on existing furniture and be moved whenever the space needs to be rearranged.
Designed for Indoor Use Too
Although Club fits naturally into Cane-line’s outdoor collection, the manufacturer specifies the Small Storage Box for both outdoor and indoor use.
Inside the home it can be used on open shelving, beside a desk, on a console or within a dining space wherever smaller everyday objects need to remain organised without being completely hidden.
This flexibility also makes Club particularly useful in spaces that flow directly between the interior and terrace.
Small or Medium Club Storage Box?
Cane-line also produces a larger Club box using the same teak material and minimalist design language.
The Cane-line Club Medium Storage Box measures approximately 35 × 48 × 16 cm, compared with 24 × 35 × 16 cm for the Small version.
Choose the Small Club for tables, narrower shelving and smaller groups of objects. Choose the Medium Club where greater capacity is needed for items such as magazines, textiles or larger garden essentials.
Complete the Cane-line Club Collection
Club is a wider family of storage boxes and serving trays united by the same simple shapes, rounded handles and restrained material palette.
Alongside the Small and Medium boxes, the Cane-line Club Storage Box provides another proportion for organising and displaying objects in indoor and outdoor settings.
Using several Club pieces together creates consistent storage without requiring everything to be identical in size or function.
Pair with the Club Teak Trays
The wider Club collection also includes rectangular and round serving trays that use the same minimalist language and are available in teak alongside selected aluminium finishes.
For a smaller companion piece, the Cane-line Club Tray Rect Small can be used for serving or for grouping smaller decorative objects.
For a different shape, the Cane-line Club Tray Round Ø44 cm introduces a circular format while retaining the same practical approach to indoor and outdoor use.
Club Box or Club Tray?
Choose a Club Storage Box when keeping several smaller objects contained and visually organised is the priority.
Choose a Club Tray when the main requirement is serving, carrying drinks or arranging objects on a flatter surface.
Because both belong to the same family, storage boxes and trays can be mixed together across dining and lounge areas without introducing unrelated accessory styles.

Care
Cane-line’s teak naturally changes from its original warm golden-brown colour to a silver-grey patina when left untreated over time.
If you prefer to retain the original teak colour, Cane-line recommends maintaining the timber with its dedicated Teak Care products. Always follow the current manufacturer instructions when cleaning or treating the wood.
