The Blomus FAROL collection brings the flexibility of rechargeable lighting into a clean, understated form designed for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
With no permanent power cable required during use, FAROL can move easily between dining tables, side tables, terraces, balconies and relaxed outdoor seating areas as the light changes throughout the day.

FAROL was designed by Peter Lienhart, whose approach places clarity of form and purposeful detail at the centre of the design.
The simple cylindrical silhouette gives the lamp a calm architectural character, while the integrated rechargeable technology keeps the form free from unnecessary visual complication.
Touch Control from the Centre of the Shade
FAROL is operated using the touch-sensitive control positioned at the centre of the lampshade.
A simple touch switches the lamp on or off and allows the brightness to be adjusted, making it easy to change the atmosphere without searching for a switch or cable.
2700K to 4000K Light
FAROL provides a colour-temperature range from approximately 2700K to 4000K, allowing the character of the light to change with the setting.
Use the warmer end of the range for relaxed evening dining and softer ambient lighting, or move towards a clearer 4000K setting when a brighter, fresher quality of light is preferred.
Up to 47.5 Hours of Battery Life
Depending on the selected brightness level, FAROL offers approximately 9.5 to 47.5 hours of illumination from a full charge.
That extended runtime makes it particularly useful for evenings outdoors, dinner parties and spaces where moving the lamp regularly is more practical than installing a permanent wired fitting.
130 Lumens of Portable LED Light
The integrated LED produces approximately 130 lumens while using just 1.5W of power.
FAROL is therefore best understood as atmospheric and accent lighting rather than a replacement for a primary ceiling light, making it particularly effective for creating softer pools of light around seating and dining areas.
FAROL 34 cm Table Lamp
The compact FAROL measures approximately 11 x 11 cm with a height of around 33 cm and is listed by Blomus as the 34 cm size.
Its small footprint makes it particularly useful on dining tables, side tables, bedside furniture and outdoor tables where a conventional wired lamp would be impractical.
FAROL FLOOR 115 cm
The larger FAROL FLOOR extends the same rechargeable lighting concept into a freestanding floor lamp.
At approximately 15 x 15 cm wide and around 114–116 cm high depending on finish, it can provide atmospheric light beside outdoor lounge furniture, sofas and reading areas without requiring a permanent electrical point immediately beside the lamp.
IP54 for Indoor and Outdoor Use
FAROL carries an IP54 protection rating and is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
This makes it suitable for terraces, balconies and garden seating areas as well as living rooms and dining spaces, giving the same lamp much greater flexibility across the home.
Six Finishes at RB12
RB12 currently offers FAROL in White, Satellite, Warm Grey, Gunmetal, Burned Metal and Rusty Look.
White and Satellite create the lightest expressions, Warm Grey offers a softer neutral, Gunmetal and Burned Metal introduce deeper metallic tones, while Rusty Look gives the lamp a warmer and more decorative surface character.
Powder-Coated Aluminium
FAROL is primarily constructed from aluminium with powder-coated or metallic finishes depending on the selected colour.
The material keeps the lamp visually clean while giving the portable design the durability required for regular movement between indoor and outdoor settings.
Recharge and Move Again
Once the battery has been depleted, FAROL can be recharged using the supplied charging solution before being moved back into position.
The rechargeable design removes the need for a trailing cable during normal use and makes it easy to reposition the lamp throughout the home or garden.
