A Refined Mix of Wood and Natural Stone
The Bolia Mix Coffee Table is built around the relationship between two very different natural materials. Solid oak creates the supporting frame, while marble or travertine forms the tabletop, bringing colour, texture and natural variation into the design.
Rather than placing the stone surface on top of a conventional base, the oak structure rises around the tabletop and visually frames it. This small construction detail helps unite the two materials and gives Mix its distinctive, carefully resolved appearance.
Designed by Studio Gud
Mix was designed by Portuguese design studio Studio Gud. Their approach places particular emphasis on the honesty of materials, simple forms and the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary furniture design.
For Mix, Studio Gud combined clean geometric shapes with natural timber and stone, allowing the colour, grain and texture of the individual materials to become part of the finished expression.
Solid Oak Legs
The base is crafted from solid oak, giving the table strength while keeping the silhouette visually light. The legs extend upwards to meet and frame the stone tabletop, creating a continuous relationship between the structure and surface.
RB12 offers the oak in White Pigmented Oiled Oak, Oiled Oak and Dark Oiled Oak, allowing the timber to range from pale and softly Scandinavian to richer and more contrasting.
Marble and Travertine Table Tops
The Mix Coffee Table is available with a broad selection of natural stone tops, including Beige Marble, Brown Marble, Grey/White Marble, Grigio Bottarga Marble, Jura Grey Marble, Pietra Grey Marble and Sand Travertine.
Each stone has its own character. Marble introduces distinctive veining and tonal contrast, while Sand Travertine gives the table a softer, warmer and more textural appearance.
Because marble and travertine are natural materials, variations in colour, pattern and surface are part of the design rather than imperfections. No two stone tops will look completely identical.
The Compact Ø46cm Mix Table
This smaller version of the Mix Coffee Table measures Ø46 × H48cm. Its compact footprint and taller profile make it especially well suited beside a sofa or armchair, where it can function as a side table while retaining the same material richness as the larger Mix coffee tables.
The 46cm size also works well in smaller living rooms where a large central coffee table would feel too dominant, or as an additional surface alongside a lower table.

Caring for the Bolia Mix Coffee Table
Clean the oak frame gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaning products and prolonged moisture.
Marble and travertine should be protected from acidic liquids, oils and prolonged spills. Use coasters where possible and wipe spills promptly, following Bolia’s specific care instructions for your selected stone finish.
