Description
A Toilet Brush Designed to Disappear into the Bathroom
The Blomus SONO Toilet Brush takes an everyday bathroom necessity and gives it the same considered material and design treatment as the rest of the SONO collection.
Its softly rounded ceramic holder keeps the brush discreetly contained, allowing it to remain close at hand without introducing the harsh utilitarian appearance associated with more conventional bathroom accessories.
Designed by Nina Thöming
SONO was designed by Nina Thöming, whose work for Blomus combines practical everyday function with soft contours, tactile materials and a restrained contemporary design language.
The toilet brush follows the same approach, turning a purely functional bathroom object into something that can sit comfortably alongside carefully chosen ceramics, fittings and furniture.
Soft-Touch Ceramic Holder
The holder is made from ceramic with the pleasantly matt soft-touch surface that characterises the wider SONO bathroom collection.
Its tactile finish softens the appearance of the accessory while the simple cylindrical form keeps the design visually quiet and easy to integrate into both minimal and more layered bathrooms.
Glazed Inside for Easier Cleaning
While the exterior has a soft matt finish, the inside of the ceramic holder is glazed.
The smoother interior surface is easier to wipe and clean, giving SONO a practical hygienic detail that is largely hidden from view during everyday use.
Polished Stainless-Steel Handle
A slender polished stainless-steel handle rises from the ceramic holder, providing a subtle material contrast against the softer matt surface below.
The combination gives SONO a more refined appearance while retaining the durability and straightforward handling required from an everyday bathroom accessory.
Integrated Silicone Cover
A soft silicone lid is integrated into the handle and sits over the opening of the holder when the brush is returned to its place.
This discreetly covers the brush and creates a neater overall appearance, keeping the functional part of the product largely out of view.
Compact Ø11 cm Footprint
The SONO Toilet Brush measures approximately Ø11 cm with a total height of 39 cm.
Its relatively narrow footprint makes it easy to position beside a wall-hung or floor-standing toilet without taking up unnecessary bathroom floor space.
Seven SONO Colours at RB12
RB12 currently offers the SONO Toilet Brush in Black, Magnet, Micro Chip, Moonbeam, Satellite, Tan and White.
The palette ranges from stronger monochrome finishes through to softer greys, beige and warm neutral tones, making it possible to coordinate the brush with bathroom tiles, sanitaryware and other SONO accessories.
Create a Coordinated SONO Bathroom
The toilet brush forms part of the wider Blomus SONO collection, which carries the same rounded forms, tactile surfaces and coordinated colour palette across everyday bathroom accessories.
Pairing the toilet brush with a SONO soap dispenser, toothbrush tumbler or cosmetic mirror creates a more considered bathroom scheme without requiring every accessory to become a statement in its own right.
Replaceable Brush Components
Blomus offers replacement brush components for the SONO system, allowing the working part of the product to be renewed without replacing the complete ceramic holder.
This is particularly useful for a bathroom accessory designed to remain in regular use over an extended period.
