The Bolia Grove Flowerpot collection is designed to bring plants naturally into the interior, combining softly rounded proportions with a tactile, understated surface.
From compact pots for shelves and side tables to substantial floor-standing planters, the different Grove sizes make it possible to introduce greenery at several levels throughout the home.

Grove was created by Danish design duo Anna Karnov & Clara Mahler, whose work focuses on lasting materials, simple forms and objects that develop naturally alongside the people and spaces around them.
The characteristic rounded profile gives plants space to grow while allowing the planter itself to remain calm and architectural rather than visually dominant.
Two Materials Across the Grove Collection
The Grove collection uses different materials depending on the size and intended setting.
The smaller Grove flowerpots are made from earthenware and intended for indoor use, while the larger floor-standing models are made from fibre concrete and designed for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Earthenware Grove Flowerpots for Indoors
The smaller Grove sizes bring the warmer, more tactile character of earthenware to shelves, consoles, window ledges and smaller pieces of furniture.
Their compact proportions work particularly well for smaller houseplants and greenery where a large floor planter would overwhelm the surrounding space.

Large Fibre-Concrete Grove Planters
For larger plants and more architectural planting schemes, Grove is also produced in substantially larger fibre-concrete formats.
These heavier planters are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, making them particularly effective in open-plan living areas, entrance spaces, conservatories, terraces and garden seating areas.

A Natural Surface That Ages Gracefully
Bolia designed Grove around a natural material expression rather than a perfectly uniform decorative finish.
The subtle surface character gives the pots a warmer and more tactile presence, allowing them to sit comfortably alongside timber, stone, textiles and other natural materials.
Sand and Ivory
RB12 offers the Grove collection in Sand and Ivory across selected sizes.
Both colours are deliberately quiet and neutral, allowing the foliage and shape of the plant to remain the focus while making Grove easy to combine with contemporary Scandinavian and more natural interior palettes.
Create Different Levels of Greenery
Using more than one Grove size makes it possible to create a layered planting arrangement rather than relying on a single large plant.
Smaller pots can sit on furniture or shelving while the larger floor-standing planters introduce height and greenery at room level, helping planting feel more integrated into the interior.
Grove for Outdoor Spaces
The large fibre-concrete Grove models are suitable for outdoor use and work particularly well for adding planting around terraces, patios and outdoor lounge areas.
Their generous proportions provide enough visual presence to sit alongside outdoor sofas, dining furniture and larger architectural spaces without being lost within the setting.
Important – Check the Intended Use
Not every Grove Flowerpot is designed for outdoor use. The smaller earthenware models are intended for indoor use, while the larger fibre-concrete versions can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Always select the appropriate size and material for the location where the planter will be used.

Caring for the Bolia Grove Flowerpot
For the smaller earthenware Grove flowerpots, Bolia recommends cleaning with a damp cloth.
For the large fibre-concrete planters, use a mild non-abrasive soap. Bolia advises against abrasive, ammoniated, bleach-based or highly acidic cleaning products.
When using the large fibre-concrete Grove planters indoors, fit the supplied drainage plug correctly and use a drainage layer such as expanded clay at the bottom.
For outdoor use, leave the drainage opening unobstructed and do not fit the bottom plug. During freezing temperatures, ensure no standing water remains inside the planter. Bolia recommends covering and raising the planter from the ground during winter storage.
