The Bolia Patio Garden Bench is a simple, substantial outdoor seat designed for gardens, terraces and dining areas. That approach is particularly appropriate for Patio. Rather than trying to preserve the timber in one permanent visual state, the collection allows teak to respond naturally to exposure and the passing seasons.
Crafted from Solid FSC™-Certified Teak
Patio is made from solid, FSC™-certified teak, a material chosen by Bolia for its outdoor durability, natural warmth and ability to develop character over time.
The teak is used throughout the main structure, including the seat, backrest and legs, giving the bench a consistent timber expression from every angle.
Its visible construction also makes Patio easy to combine with stone, planting, decking and other natural outdoor materials without introducing an overly decorative element into the garden.
110 cm or 170 cm Garden Bench
RB12 offers the Patio Garden Bench in two widths, making it suitable for both smaller terraces and larger outdoor dining arrangements.

The 110 cm version is easier to position in smaller gardens, courtyards and balconies, while the 170 cm bench provides substantially more seating and creates a stronger visual relationship with a larger outdoor dining table.
Optional Patio Cushions
The Patio Bench can be specified without cushions, with a seat cushion, or with both seat and back cushions.
Keeping the bench completely uncovered places greater emphasis on the solid teak construction and gives it the cleanest architectural expression. Adding the seat cushion introduces more comfort for longer meals, while the full seat-and-back arrangement creates the softest and most relaxed version.

Use Patio as an Outdoor Dining Bench
A bench can create a more relaxed dining arrangement than placing individual chairs around every side of an outdoor table. Guests can sit more flexibly along one continuous seat, while chairs can be used on the opposite side or at the ends.

Place it beneath a tree, beside planting, against a boundary wall or in a position chosen around a particular view. The relatively restrained form allows the surrounding garden to remain the focus rather than making the bench itself overly decorative.
Teak Designed to Change with the Seasons
Patio is made from untreated teak, so its appearance will naturally change when exposed outdoors.
If left untreated, Bolia states that the teak will gradually develop a silver-grey patina. This is a natural change in the appearance of the timber and forms part of the intended ageing process of the Patio collection.
If you prefer to retain more of the original warm golden-brown colour, Bolia recommends regular oiling of the teak.

Care
Bolia supplies Patio in untreated teak. When left untreated outdoors, the timber will gradually develop a silver-grey patina as it is exposed to the elements.
If you prefer to maintain more of the teak’s original warm golden-brown colour, Bolia recommends regular oiling. Always follow Bolia’s current teak care instructions and the care information supplied with your furniture when applying treatment.
