TUBO was developed by studio blomus, combining straightforward everyday function with the clean, reduced design language associated with the wider Blomus collection.
Rather than drawing attention through unnecessary detail, the design relies on simple proportions, carefully selected finishes and practical features that improve daily use.
Smart-Close Lid
TUBO features the Blomus Smart-Close system, allowing the lid to return gently and almost silently after use.
It is a small but valuable detail in a bathroom or guest WC, where quieter operation helps the bin feel noticeably more refined than a conventional pedal-operated design.
Hands-Free Pedal Operation
A foot pedal allows the lid to be opened without touching it by hand, providing a simple and hygienic way to dispose of tissues, cotton pads and other everyday bathroom waste.
The mechanism is integrated neatly into the base, preserving the clean appearance of the overall design.
Removable Inner Bucket
Inside TUBO is a removable plastic inner bucket that makes emptying and cleaning considerably easier.
Removing the inner container also helps protect the outer steel body from everyday waste, allowing the visible exterior to remain looking cleaner for longer.

With a 3-litre capacity, TUBO is designed for smaller everyday waste rather than taking up unnecessary floor space.

The TUBO Pedal Bin combines a robust steel outer body with an easy-care plastic inner container.
Most finishes use a matt powder-coated steel surface, giving the bin a smooth and understated appearance that works naturally alongside contemporary bathroom fittings, tiles and cabinetry.
From Soft Neutrals to Metallic Finishes
RB12 offers the TUBO Pedal Bin in Anthracite, Black, Brass Metallic, Burned Metal Metallic Finish, Moon Gray, Sand, Tarmac, Taupe and White.
Sand, Taupe and White create a softer look for lighter bathrooms, while Anthracite, Tarmac and Black provide greater contrast. Brass Metallic and Burned Metal offer a more decorative alternative where the bin is intended to coordinate with warmer metal finishes elsewhere in the room.
Small Enough for Guest WCs
TUBO stands approximately 24 cm high, with a footprint of around 21–22 x 16–17 cm depending on the selected finish.

Caring for the Blomus TUBO Pedal Bin
Blomus recommends cleaning the TUBO Pedal Bin with a damp cloth. The removable inner bucket can be taken out separately when more thorough cleaning is required.
Do not soak the outer bin and avoid abrasive cleaning products or acidic substances, which may affect the surface finish.
