The Blomus ASHI Fireside Set reimagines traditional fireplace tools with a lighter, more refined visual language, combining slender powder-coated steel with warm oak detailing.
Rather than feeling purely utilitarian, ASHI is designed to remain permanently visible beside the fireplace, bringing a calmer and more architectural quality to the hearth.
Designed by kaschkasch
ASHI was designed by German design studio kaschkasch, founded by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider.
The collection reflects their pared-back approach to everyday objects, balancing simple functionality with carefully considered proportions and material details.
Inspired by Reeds and Natural Forms
The silhouette of ASHI takes inspiration from reeds growing in shallow water, with long, slender tool shafts recalling the upright stems of the plant.
This natural reference gives the set a softer and more elegant character than heavier traditional fireplace tools, while retaining the practical proportions needed for everyday use.
Powder-Coated Steel and Oak
The ASHI Fireside Set combines matt powder-coated steel with oak handles, creating a balanced contrast between cool metal and warmer natural material.
The steel provides a durable and stable structure, while the oak handles introduce a more tactile and domestic character that helps the set sit comfortably within contemporary living spaces.
Black or Brown Oak Handles
RB12 offers ASHI with either Black or Brown oak handles, allowing the same design to take on a subtly different character depending on the surrounding interior.
Black creates a more graphic and architectural look, while Brown oak introduces greater warmth alongside timber flooring, cabinetry and other natural materials.
Magnetic Storage Detail
A magnetic detail within the wooden handle helps keep the poker securely positioned on the stand when not in use.

3-Piece Fireside Set
The 3-piece ASHI set provides the essentials in a more compact configuration, combining the stand with a poker and tongs.
