The Ethimo Knit Rectangular Coffee Table is designed around a simple idea: a generous teak surface, low proportions and a calm contemporary silhouette that sits naturally within an outdoor lounge setting.
Measuring 135 x 75 cm and standing just 30 cm high, the table provides a substantial central surface without interrupting the relaxed sightlines of sofas and lounge chairs around it.
Designed by Patrick Norguet
The Knit collection was designed by Patrick Norguet, whose approach combines clean geometry with materials chosen to work naturally in contemporary outdoor spaces.
With the rectangular coffee table, the design is deliberately restrained. The proportions are broad and low, allowing the teak and the relationship between the table and surrounding seating to create the visual impact.
Natural Teak or Pickled Teak
The Knit Rectangular Coffee Table is available in two teak finishes: Natural Teak and Pickled Teak.
Natural Teak brings a warm, honey-toned character to the design and will gradually develop a lighter, greyer appearance as it ages outdoors. This change is a natural result of exposure to air, water and light and does not affect the strength or durability of the timber.
Pickled Teak has a more weathered, silvery-grey appearance. The surface is brushed and treated to create a softer aged effect, giving the same design a more muted and contemporary expression.
Made for Outdoor Lounge Settings
The low 30 cm height makes Knit particularly well suited to outdoor sofas, lounge chairs and deeper seating. Its 135 cm length also gives several people easy access to the tabletop, making it practical for larger terraces, patios and garden seating areas.
At approximately 17 kg, the table has enough weight to feel substantial without becoming visually heavy. The simple rectangular format also makes it easy to position in front of wider sofas or between facing seats.

Teak is particularly well suited to outdoor use because of its resistance to changes in temperature, water and humidity, while its natural grain keeps the material visually warm and tactile.

Caring for the Ethimo Knit Coffee Table
For Natural Teak, Ethimo recommends regularly washing the surface with water to remove dirt and impurities. More persistent marks can be cleaned using a soft sponge and mild soap diluted in water.
Natural teak will gradually become lighter and greyer through exposure to air, water and sunlight. This is a normal aesthetic change and does not indicate a reduction in the quality or durability of the timber.
Pickled Teak requires slightly different care. Ethimo offers specific cleaning and restoration products designed to maintain the silvery finish and restore the original appearance if the surface becomes lighter over time.
