Designer Outdoor Stools and Bar Chairs

The Cane-line Flip Stool, designed by Strand+Hvass, is made from Grade A teak using mortise-and-tenon construction. Its slatted seat creates a simple Scandinavian appearance, while the stackable design makes it particularly practical where several stools need to be stored together.

At 47cm high, Flip works as a conventional low stool rather than a bar-height seat and can be used around outdoor dining and lounge areas where flexible additional seating is required.

Outdoor Bar Stools and Bar Chairs

Outdoor bar stools are designed for raised counters, garden bars and outdoor kitchen islands where conventional dining-chair seat heights would be too low.

The Cane-line Flip Bar Chair carries the same teak construction as the smaller Flip Stool into a 77cm seat height. The seat has a slight incline for comfort and incorporates a horizontal teak footrest.

The chair is also stackable, making it practical where an exterior bar area needs to be cleared or furniture stored during part of the year.

Cane-line Breeze Bar Chair

The Cane-line Breeze Bar Chair takes a lighter woven approach to outdoor bar seating.

Designed by Strand+Hvass, Breeze is manufactured in Cane-line Weave® and has a 75cm seat height. Its open structure creates a visually lighter piece of furniture than a solid timber bar stool, which can be particularly useful on compact terraces or around larger outdoor bar counters.

The Breeze Bar Chair is also stackable, providing additional flexibility when several stools are used together.

Cane-line Bliss Bar Chair

For a more minimal metal design, the Cane-line Bliss Bar Chair is crafted from powder-coated aluminium and uses a slim, contemporary profile.

Designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD, Bliss has a 77cm seat height and can be paired with a coordinating cushion for additional comfort. Its stackable construction makes it suitable for both private gardens and larger hospitality-style outdoor spaces.

Teak Outdoor Stools

Teak introduces natural warmth into an outdoor scheme and works particularly well alongside stone paving, timber decking and surrounding planting.

Both the Cane-line Flip Stool and Flip Bar Chair are made from Grade A teak.

Natural teak will change appearance when exposed to exterior conditions. If you prefer to maintain its original golden-brown colour, follow Cane-line's recommended teak-care instructions rather than allowing the timber to weather naturally.

Tom Dixon Groove Outdoor Stool

The Tom Dixon Groove Outdoor Stool provides a distinctly different alternative to Cane-line's Scandinavian furniture.

Part of Tom Dixon's outdoor collection, Groove is made from powder-coated aluminium and characterised by raised linear ridges inspired by Art Deco detailing. The sculptural form allows it to work as functional seating while also contributing a strong architectural element to a contemporary terrace.

It can be paired with the wider Tom Dixon Groove outdoor collection, including matching dining and lounge furniture.

Outdoor Footstools and Multifunctional Seating

Not every product within the Outdoor Stools collection is designed solely as an upright seat. Several pieces can perform more than one role within a garden lounge area.
