Description
From Oven to Table
The KnIndustrie Teglia Roasting Pan is designed around one of the ideas at the heart of the brand: cookware should not necessarily need to disappear once the food is ready.
Its clean aluminium form is made for cooking, reheating and serving, allowing Teglia to move directly from the kitchen to the dining table without requiring food to be transferred into a separate serving dish.
Part of the Storm Collection
Teglia forms part of KnIndustrie’s Storm collection, a project exploring the relationship between technical utility and contemporary design.
The collection strips everyday kitchen and serving objects back to their essential forms, allowing proportion, material and function to create the visual character of each piece.
Aluminium with an Ice Finish
Teglia is made from aluminium with KnIndustrie’s distinctive Ice finish, giving the roasting pan a cool, understated surface that feels equally appropriate in the kitchen and at the table.
Rather than disguising its functional origins, the design celebrates the directness of the material and turns the simplicity of a baking tray into part of its appeal.
Designed for Cooking, Heating and Serving
KnIndustrie defines Teglia as a baking tray with additional functions spanning cooking, reheating and serving.
That versatility makes it particularly useful for dishes intended to be brought directly to the table, helping retain the informal character of shared meals while keeping the presentation considered.
35 x 25 cm Format
The tray measures 35 x 25 cm, providing a practical rectangular format for oven cooking and table service.
RB12 lists an overall height of approximately 8 cm, giving Teglia more depth than a completely flat baking sheet while retaining a clean and compact footprint.
Available with a Mahogany Lid
RB12 offers Teglia either without a lid or with the coordinating 35 x 25 cm mahogany lid.
The natural warmth and grain of the mahogany creates a striking contrast against the cool Ice-finished aluminium, adding another material layer when Teglia is brought to the table.
A Different Kind of Roasting Pan
Most roasting pans are designed to perform a task and then disappear back into a cupboard. Teglia takes a different approach, treating the pan itself as part of the dining experience.
Its restrained shape and material-led finish mean the same piece used during cooking can become the serving piece at the centre of the table.
Utility Meets Art
KnIndustrie describes the Storm collection as existing between utility and art, exploring how highly functional objects can also create an aesthetic experience through material and simplicity.
Teglia captures that idea particularly clearly: there is nothing unnecessary about its form, yet the precision and restraint of the object allow it to feel at home in a considered table setting.
The KnIndustrie Approach to the Table
Teglia reflects KnIndustrie’s wider approach to creating continuity between preparation and presentation. Instead of treating the kitchen and table as completely separate environments, the brand develops objects that can move naturally between the two.
The result is cookware that performs its practical role while still contributing to the atmosphere and presentation of a shared meal.
