NOTE: remember to screw all the slats of the mattress frame to the mounting slats on which you place the frame. This will protect the bed structure from the movement of the mattress on the frame and stiffen its structure.
The bed is made of pine. Covered with water-based varnish. The structure of the varnish gently lets the grain through so that they are visible from a close distance.
