It’s all in the details with Novamobili

Novamobili are known for designing and producing contemporary, modular furnishings suitable for almost any room of your house. Their products are adaptable and can be built to your specific format, needs and style.

Novamobili have recently launched a new series of modern furniture pieces called the Details collection. It includes beautiful sideboards, tables and chairs that are highly flexible down to the tiniest detail.

A standout piece from this collection is the BELT sideboard. The designer of this piece, Philippe Nigroa describes it to be “ripe for customising with an extensive range of finishes to choose from”. We agree that the uniqueness and strength of its design lies in its capacity to be totally modular. The sideboard and cupboard system float on a metal frame in any of the matt, oxidized and metal lacquered colour options available. You can also adapt this piece into various configurations. You can achieve these combinations by blending your choice of doors and drawers to create storage units or display cabinets to suit any room. The fronts are available in the matt and oxidized lacquered finishes. Using the Era glass doors, the sideboard is transformed into an elegant display cabinet that can even be lit by LED lighting.

Novamobili have also launched a simple yet elegant extendable table aptly named STRETCH. Robust and contemporary looking, this table has a pared-back style but with distinctive details such as the angled legs. The table is available in two finishes, the rovere carbone which is a dark, carbon veneer or noce canaletto for a more natural wood look. The STRETCH table has been designed by Zaven design studio specifically with entertaining in the home in mind. It extends up to an impressive three metres which sits up to 12 people.

Another table to be added to the collection is the KIN coffee table. Design duo Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto designed this occasional table to have a very sophisticated appearance and would be a prominent piece in any room. The KIN has slim metal legs that support two surfaces at differing heights. There are four different configurations of shapes ranging from square, rectangle, oval and circular options. The legs come in matt, oxidized and metal lacquered finishes, while tops are available in the Novamobili eco-wood finishes (a high-quality Italian laminate), in addition to the matt, oxidized, gloss and metal lacquered options.

A truly versatile piece from this collection is the FLY tea-table also designed by the aforementioned Zaven design studio. This occasional table works as a singular piece or can be grouped together in a variety of arrangements. Novamobili offer a selection of shapes, heights and materials making for countless combinations. The selection of finishes available for this product includes a lava stone which is both beautiful and extremely durable.

There has also been chairs and seating introduced to this new collection, a highlight of which is the TWIST chair. The TWIST is a dynamic design taking inspiration from the Swinging Sixties and its iconic, vintage look. It has unusually angled legs at the back which join up with the support and backrest. As per all Novamobili products, you can choose from a number of frame finishes as well as fabric choices to upholster the comfortable, padded seat and back support.
